Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah has condemned the killing of three youth including a teenage girl “at the hands of Indian security forces” in Hawrah, Redwani in south Kashmir’s Kulgam, terming it as “an attack on humanity”. “Kulgam massacre will have unprecedented consequences for India,” LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued “The massacre of unarmed Kashmiri civilians in Kulgam is the implementation of the evil plot hatched by the failed BJP government to gain political points over the blood of innocent Kashmiris,” LeT chief said, adding, “We tell Modi and his ilk that if you are dreaming of gaining political power over the dead bodies of innocent Kashmiris, then you will face unprecedented consequences which may have not seen before and you will start a fire that you won’t be able to extinguish.” “We would also like to tell the international community and the United Nations that you act as blind and dumb monkeys when our blood is spilled and when we strike back to avenge our kith and kin you come running with your crocodile tears. Such hypocrisy is shameful and disgusting,” Mehmood Shah said in a statement. Shah said instead of being silent spectators over the dead bodies of Kashmiris, the international organisations must play a proactive and responsible role in delivering justice to those who are oppressed. “Not doing so will jeopardise the peace and stability of the South Asian region,” he said.
